Kigoma Development Organisation (KDO) Is a Non-Governmental Organization, membership, non-religious and nonpartisan affiliation registered on 5th December, 2022 under NGO Act No. 24 of 2002 (RE 2005) with registration No. 00NGO/R/4226. The KDOs, we are driven by our commitments to economically empower ordinary people, to create awareness of communities on resilience to climate change and mitigation impacts of eviromental destruction, to promote gender equality, good governance, good service delivery and human rights in Kigoma communities.
Our Objectives:
Improve rural community’s beneficial engagement in the social, economic and democratic life of Kigoma.
Enhanced Kigoma communities’ resilience to climate change and impacts of environmental destruction.
Promote gender equality, good-governance, good-service delivery and human rights in Kigoma communities has up to date benefited 150.
To empower urban and rural communities so that they can effectively participate in the Kigoma social, economic and democratic life from an informed perspective.
A Kigoma where all people have sustainable livelihoods, are health, access all their rights and participate in the Kigoma social, economic and democratic life from an informed perspective.
The main goal for KDO as an Organization is to fight poverty diseases and Environmental degradation through community mobilization and awareness creation.
